The BEST MediBang tutorial that I've read! Thank you very much for your time and dedication! This tutorial is simply and complete and the best way to approach to this program. I found it a couple of days ago and even I love its interface I didn't know how to make many things that I need.

Hi, farhadfarahbak~

I share the same issue on my Surface Pro 4 and originally thought it was a problem with the pressure when the pen's tip first connects with the screen. Recently, I was testing out the pen-tip kit and discovered that the 2H and H tips didn't have that issue, though I am not sure if the B tip does as the ink blotches didn't appear but it could vary depending on the kit.
If you don't already have a pen-tip kit, they're relatively cheap and I'd recommend testing those other tips on your Surface to see if that makes any difference. Based on personal experience, I wouldn't recommend purchasing a new pen or replacing it as the issue will still appear.

I wanted to know how i can mix two colours together.

Like, what if i have light and dark brown next to each other?

I want to make it look like the dark brown fades into the lighter version

You can use the watercolor brush tool. When you use it with other colors on the same layer, you get a mixed or blended effect, I think.

Yes
You can also use the 'expand' tool in the paintbucket, and set it to one. That way, there won't be as many to color!

Okay, You'll already know that if you try to submit a medibang masterpiece it comes back saying no preview and won't let you submit! That is because it's a medibang file, not a jpg or png file, which means that you won't be able to submit!

I can tell you how to make it a png file, because those are the best, if you don't already know...

So go to medibang and open the file you want to submit. Hover the mouse over file and it will open the window that you use to save, open medibang, new, you get it. Underneath save is save as. Click save as and it will open file where you save work. If you have already saved your work, it will be pointless to save it again so don't click save! On the bar where you name the file or the name of the file [If you have already saved and named it] there is an arrow that points down, click it and there is a window that gives you other save options. One of those options is png. click png and you work will be a png file. It does say that layers cannot be saved with this format. Don't worry! It does nothing to the artwork! But I do suggest that after you make your work a png, you go back to save as and save it as a medibang file again!

I hope that you find this helpful! Sorry if it's confusing!

Do you mean submit on deviantart? If you go to file, click save as. it will direct you to file and then click the arrow that is at the end of where you name the file....(or the name of it if you have saved) when you click it, a window of options opens and one of the options is PNG... Sorry if I am confusing you! I hope it helps! ^^

How do you move the Snaps? I've been trying to do it for a long while (using the normal brush tool and hand tool and move tool), but it keeps showing that red circle with a diagonal slash (stop sign).

I figured out how to move it! Though it sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. I think it has to do with how I activate it...

Hello,  I'm new to medibang, but love it so far.  the problem I ran into is that I loaded a reference photograph into the background and then added a layer over to do some trace work, and the pen will not write on the new layer.  any idea what I might be doing wrong?

Question: I tried uploading a picture made with this software, but dA won't allow me. Saving it as any other file type removes layers. Any advice?

Save it as a file type for the program, and save another one with a different name and as a png.

Did you, yyuuuuuummmmrrrrrrrr, convert it into any photo file format first? (.png, .jpeg, etc.)

PRO TIP - Use SAVE AS, then CHANGE THE FILE FORMAT into .png (...etc.) so IT CAN BE POSTABLE.

When I want to upload a drawing made on MediBang, I save an original version (.mdp) in case if I want to change something later on and I save a .png version so that I'm able to upload it.
How to change file to .png- Click "Save as" and select the type of file you'd like to save the drawing as (.png, ,jpeg,. Bitmap, etc.)
Hope this helps :>

I had the same problem, and there are really two solutions that I know personally, and that would be if you use another photo as a preview, or you put it into a category that fits Medibang. For certain programs, sometimes they're only allowed in certain categories.
Hope that helped!

Hello! I would like to use it but I have a problem, when I wanted to make out a will and when I wanted to use the pencil, there were parts of the copy where I could draw and the rest of the copy, I might pass several times above, nothing displayed, I could not draw in this place, and I understand not why, you could help me if that have already arrived at you?
Thx <3

For coloring on medibang paint , I recommend you use airbrush ( for soft tone & adjust color transparency as you prefer )  then you use blur to blend . For mode, Multiply mode is like Shade mode in Paint tool SAI, and Add mode or Overlay mode are like Lumi & shade mode and Luminosity mode in Paint tool SAI .So it depends on which mode you prefer.
